Aventus to Bring Decentralized Identity to Enterprises with KILT Protocol
Multiple enterprise use cases planned, beginning with the supply chain sector

LONDON AND BERLIN — 25 April 2023: Aventus, a Web3 solutions provider for enterprises, today announced it will integrate KILT Protocol, an identity blockchain, across multiple sectors including supply chain.
Aventus sets up, deploys and maintains customized client-specific Web3 solutions for businesses looking to leverage the benefits of blockchain in order to generate new revenue streams, improve operational efficiencies and future-proof their operations.
KILT Protocol is used for generating self-sovereign decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials. Enterprise and consumer services “built on KILT” protect and enhance digital identity, with existing use cases spanning energy, gaming, music, media, financial services and accounting, and NFTs.
Leveraging KILT’s decentralized digital identity technology and Aventus’ product suite of enterprise-focused building blocks, the teams will explore collaborations on specific enterprise use cases beginning with the supply chain sector. Aventus will deploy blockchain-enabled IoT devices into cargo tracking pods used by airlines, using KILT’s decentralized identity and verified credentials framework to improve security and scalability of the sector.
The partnership between the KILT team and Aventus, both members of the Polkadot ecosystem, brings superior security, speed, scalability and interoperability — which is then passed on to the enterprises leveraging the use-case specific solutions developed by the two.
Alan Vey, Founder & CEO of Aventus, said: “We at Aventus are passionate about the potential of blockchain to truly revolutionize enterprises, bringing unprecedented operational efficiencies, security, and customer stickiness. Ingo and the entire team at KILT share this philosophy, and their enterprise-grade vision, approach and offering made the partnership an organic fit. We’re excited to see what we can achieve together.”
Ingo Rübe, Founder of KILT Protocol and CEO of BOTLabs GmbH, added: “It’s great to see an industry-focused project like Aventus in the Polkadot ecosystem running its own parachain. Aventus offers the flexibility needed by large corporations, while upholding the principles of Web3. We very much look forward to executing projects with them.”
Aventus and KILT are both attending CoinDesk Consensus this week, and the teams will be participating in specialized enterprise-focused conferences globally throughout the year.
